| Adullam Orphanage is a non-profit, non-government organization founded on the Word of God. (James 1:27) Our mission is to care for orphans, and abandoned and destitute children in a loving and caring environment. Hence, the name Adullam which means "A place of refuge". |

Adullam home is a hope for the orphan, under privileged and destitute children. Adullam is a non-profit organization, is dedicated to providing the very best ohysical, psychological, and sopiritual care for school-aged children who are neglected, abused, or in need of supervision. We care of these children without regard for their race, religion, culture, national origin, financial status, or social status. Our long term and short term residential care is provided through a family setting centered around Christian love, example, and teaching. We strive to instill individual worth in each child while preparing them for responsible adulthood. Where possible, we work to bring them to a good citizens |

Volunteering is an important expression of citizenship and an essential component of social equality. It is the commitment of time and energy for the benefit of society and the community and can take many forms. It is undertaken freely and by choice, without concern for financial gain.’
What can I do as a volunteer?
What you do as a volunteer depends very much on what you would like to achieve. Everyone has a personal reason for volunteering – emotional satisfaction, or to develop new skills. You should choose something that will help you fulfill your personal goal |

I want to work with children - do I need Police verification?
Yes, you indeed have to get one reference letter from your HR/University Head and a local police Verification certificate. (Police verification not applicable to foreign volunteers)
What type of volunteering Adullam expects from you?
We need volunteers, who can help children in their school assignments, homework,
Special coaching for Mathematics, Science and other subjects on a regular basis.
Also, those who are skilled in Classical music, instrument music and sports,swimming are welcomed.
If you are a professional, you may render your service by enrolling with us as a volunteer. |

How much time I can spare for volunteering?
Minimum 6 hours a week.
Who are not eligible to volunteer
• Individuals below 18 yrs.
• Individuals with criminal track records.
• Individuals who simply wants to spend time.
• Those who suffer chronic and contagious illness.
• Nationalities who are denied entry by the Government of India. |
